Leesburg Regional Medical Center

Leesburg Regional Medical Center, part of Central Florida Health Alliance, is a 309-bed acute hospital with specialty services including comprehensive cardiovascular, neurosurgery, and the only designated stroke center with the Joint Commission Seal of Approval in Lake and Sumter counties.

Located just north of Orlando, Florida, Leesburg Regional has grown from a small community-based hospital built in 1963 to a comprehensive medical center, offering services for a wide variety of health care needs. Named Florida’s only “Hospital of Choice” for the third year, Leesburg Regional has joined healthcare’s 40 most elite hospitals including Mayo and Cleveland Clinic. Additional achievements include being named 4th in the nation by AARP’s “Best Employers for Workers 50 & Over,” and ranked 2nd in the state of Florida for the highest volume of coronary bypass surgeries according to ACHA.
