A not-for-profit entity comprising of Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital, the Central Florida Health Alliance is receiving high marks across the board, from its premier care to its exceptional working environment. Just this year, Leesburg Regional Medical Center earned a Hospital of Choice Award from the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers for the third consecutive year. Leesburg Regional also offers world-class, state-of-the-art neurosurgery and open heart surgery facilities, the first and only kind in the area. Servicing Lake, Sumter and Marion counties, The Villages Regional Hospital received the 2006 CareService Award of Excellence. The Central Florida Health Alliance is also earning honors as one of the region’s top employers. AARP recently named the system 4th in the nation for workers over 50. Sentinel Communications honored it as the #1 company for working families.
