Volunteer opportunities

Woman smilingVolunteers are people of many ages and various walks of life. They enjoy being of service, helping others and meeting new friends. Central Florida Health Alliance offers more than 20 different areas where volunteers may serve in our hospitals, Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital.

In the summer months, Central Florida Health Alliance sponsors a Teenage Volunteer (TAV) Program for students interested in the medical field or those who wish to earn service hours for their schools. This is a great opportunity to learn about hospital careers while performing a valuable service. Applications for the TAV program are available at the lobby desks of both hospitals from March through April each year. The program starts in early June.

How do I get involved?

To become a volunteer, you will need to make a commitment of at least four hours per week, attend an orientation session and complete the training period.

Email your completed application to shanrahan@cfhalliance.org. For more information, please call 352.323.5060 for Leesburg Regional Medical Center or 352.751.8622 for The Villages Regional Hospital.

Volunteer appreciation

Central Florida Health Alliance volunteers are greatly appreciated and receive many benefits such as discounts in the gift shop(s), service pins and/or awards for hours served, free meals in the hospital cafeteria(s) and special banquets.
