Pastoral Services is designed to provide the Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital patients, families and staff members with 24 hour a day, 7 days a week access to chaplain coverage. The chaplain functions largely through the “ministry of presence” as fellow “journeyman.” The chaplain strives to provide comfort, assurance, scripture readings and prayer to all in need.
Additionally, Leesburg Regional Medical Center is fortunate to have the Rast Chapel, located on the first floor of the South Campus, available for all who would wish to utilize it.
The chaplains visit all newly admitted patients, patients in critical care areas and any patients who request a visit. You need only communicate your wishes to your nurse to have a message conveyed to the hospital chaplain.
The pastoral care department provides pastoral care and counseling for patients, their families and employees at both Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital. We also serve as the liaison with the community ministers.
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Chapels are located on both LRMC campuses:
South Campus—first floor, across
from the information desk off the main lobby.
North Campus—first floor, next to outpatient
chemotherapy.
Chapel—located off the lobby at The
